Advent Service Project
This Advent Holy Apostles will be supporting two amazing organizations, The House of Peace, by collecting winter clothing for their Warm Winter Drive and The NB Food Pantry by helping them to purchase a new freezer/cooler.
Baskets with ornaments for The Warm Winter Drive will be placed in the Parish Center, Welcome Center, in church and at the entrances starting November 18. We are looking to collect new boys’, girls’, teens, women's and men’s: hats, mittens, scarves, gloves, coats, snow pants, and boots of all sizes 2T –XL. Men’s XL-3XL winter coats are especially in need as are warm blankets for all ages. All unwrapped items can be turned into the blue barrels located in the Welcome Center or the Parish Center by Sunday, December 15, 2024.
Envelopes labeled NB Food Pantry Freezer will be placed in the pews. Checks may be made out to Holy Apostles Parish with NB Food Pantry Freezer in the memo area. Holy Apostles Parish is hoping to become a Supporting Platinum Sponsor by collecting $10,000. Collections for the Food Pantry will go through December 29, 2024!
